"Caregiving is a marathon, not a sprint."
-Lori, wife of blood cancer survivor Ken
This quote I found on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society website reminds us that being a caregiver is all about having patience, resilience, and stamina. I mean, we might feel like we need to do everything, but it's super important to take care of ourselves too. You can't finish a marathon if you're totally burned out after just 3 miles, right?
